Doggie Style Pets looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of pet supplies.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities include:

• Using real-time data collection to increase accuracy and lower labor costs
• Maintaining computerized administration, stock inventory, and retrieval systems
• Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out
• Enforcing safety and security procedures
• Enforcing company rules and regulations
• Managing staff, building teams, training employees, and monitoring production performance
• Communicating and interacting with clients, vendors, suppliers, and customers
• Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations
• Performing general maintenance of the machinery used in the warehouse
• Maintain an accurate warehouse inventory
• Driving a company vehicle

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• A valid drivers license with an excellent driving record
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
