Doggie Style Pets daycare, "The Lounge," utilizes Kennelbooker to stay organized for our customers. The following is meant to provide you with help to navigate the Kennelbooker app:
Getting Started |
Launching Kennelbooker
- Go to Kennelbooker.com
- Enter the username and password:
Username: thelounge@doggiestylepets.com
Password: 315lounge - This brings you to the “Dashboard” which acts like your “Home” button. If you ever need to go back to start click the “Dashboard” link
- The Dashboard gives you an overview of the entire month and how many dogs we’ve had that month and currently have in “The Lounge”
- (Add a piece about provisional bookings and dure to check in on today’s date)
Create a New Booking |
Step 1
- To create a new booking you can EITHER click on “Add Booking” tab from the “Dashboard” OR click on the “Add Booking” tab from the top row.
- To make a booking you will select the “Service” as “Daycare”
- The duration will always be “Full Day”
- Under “Booking Date” select the current date or whichever date the client is looking for
- Select “Arrival Time” to the nearest 15 minutes they arrive (Kennel Booker will usually preset this for you)
- Ignore the “Departure Time”
- Select the correct number of pets.
- Click “Check Availability”
Step 2
- Search for the client by either Pet’s name or client’s last name
- Click the “Search” Button
- This will bring up a list of results, click “Select” next to the correct client/pet and then click "Next"
Step 3
- The next screen will tell you whether the client has any credits left on their account
- If the client has credits there will be a blue banner on the middle of the page with a megaphone icon stating how many credits are left. (If there are no credits please refer to the section on adding credits)
- Regardless of whether the client has credits, select the “Next” button
- This will bring up a summary of the daycare booking. On the bottom right hand corner of the screen you will see the pet’s vaccination records. Vaccines that are out of date will be highlighted in red. *Pet’s must be up to date on all vaccinations* (If the client has up to date vaccinations to enter please refer to the section on “Updating Vaccinations”
- If a client is up to date on all vaccinations and are ready to check in select “Create Booking”
- This will bring up the booking confirmation screen.
- At the top of the screen will be another blue banner with a megaphone icon listing the booking reference. An email has been sent to the client confirming their daycare reservation.
- If the client already has credits on their account select “Go to Booking”
- This brings up the Client account page and the “Booking” tab under the clients account
- You will see under the “Booking Tab” a section that says “Booking Details” you will see three options: to check in the dog please select “Check In”
- This has successfully checked in the dog
Step 4
To check if the client has been successfully checked in:
- At the top of the page where “Dashboard” is, click on “Daily Overview”
- Scroll down and you will find a list of every dog that is currently checked in and checked out for the current day.

How to Add Customer Credits
- From the “Dashboard” click on the “Customers” tab
- This will bring up a list of every client. On the right hand side of the screen in the “Customer or Pet” bar enter the pet’s name or client’s last name and select “Search”
- Find the correct client and either select “View” or simply click on anywhere on their name
- This will bring up the Client’s account page.
- From here, under the Client’s account page select the “History” tab
- Under the “History” tab, select the “Daycare Credits” submenu
- This will bring up the ENTIRE history of the client’s daycare credits, starting with the oldest and ending at the newest. On the right hand side of the page you will see 3 columns “Add” “Minus” and “Balance”
- To see how many credits a client has left you want to look at the most recent “Balance” column
- To add credits, scroll further down the page and on the left side of the screen you will see a green tab labeled “Modify Credits”
- This will bring up a submenu that allows you to add or edit credits. From here you can manually add or delete credits from your client’s account.
*IF EVERYTHING IS DONE CORRECTLY YOU WON’T HAVE TO MINUS ANY CREDITS* - Under “Reason” you can type in “1 Day” “5 Day Package” or “10 Day Package”
- Make sure the “Type” is always set to “Full Day”
- Under “Quantity” make sure to add the correct number of days
- Click “Add/Remove” tab
To make sure that you have added the credits select “Daycare Credits” again and scroll down to the bottom of the column and the added credits should be reflected
Checkout |
How to Checkout a Customer
- Click on the “Daily Overview” tab. This brings up a list of every dog that has already checked out and currently still in daycare
- From here scroll down to the column that says “Checking Out”
- After you have told “The Lounge” staff of who is going home, on the right hand side of the page is a tab that says “Check Out”
- Select “Check Out”
- Select the button labeled “Use Credits”
*NOTE THIS WILL ONLY APPEAR WITH BOOKINGS YOU HAVE MADE, IF A CLIENT HAS MADE AN ONLINE BOOKING AND ALREADY/HAS HAS NO CREDITS PLEASE SEE BELOW* - Select the “Use Credits” tab first
- This will bring you to the current “Checkout Booking” page. Select the green tab “Checkout Bookings”
- This will bring you to the final “Checkout” phase. Select the “Checkout Booking(s)” under “Checkout Booking” again
- You have successfully checked out a dog from “The Lounge” if you look under “Customer Details” you can see how many credits are left on their account.
