Doggie Style Pets has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager with a love of Animals and People. Our managers are the heart and soul of our stores’ success.

We have been providing quality pet products, healthy foods, and friendly service to Philadelphians for over 15 years. We have since grown to ten Stores in Philadelphia, Narberth, PA and San Diego, CA.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for helping the Store Manager with the following:

• Day-to-day operations
• Sales generation
• Creating a rewarding customer experience
• Coaching our sales teams
• Merchandising and keeping up the store appearance
• Ensuring that our stores are a wonderful place to shop and work.
• Training and development of sales staff
• Educating staff on new products and industry trends
• Ensuring a safe environment for staff, customers, and animals
• Reporting maintenance issues
• Fostering an inclusive environment for everyone in the storeIdeal candidates will have a proven track record of successful retail management and experience with animals in a professional setting.

The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends is necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Candidates should be able to stand long periods of time and be able to lift 60 lbs or more on occasion.
