Walk into your nearest Doggie Style Pets location, and you'll find more than just top-quality pet supplies. You'll also meet two adorable, adoptable rescue dogs from ACCT Philly looking to find their furever homes.
Doggie Style Pets maintains specific guidelines for walking adoption dogs to ensure the safety of volunteers, staff, and the public.
- Leash Control: Dogs are never allowed off-leash and must remain under control at all times.
- Restricted Areas: Dogs are not permitted in vehicles, private yards, dog parks, or any buildings other than Doggie Style Pets stores.
- Interactions: Avoid all contact with other humans, dogs, cats, or wildlife.
- Participant Limits: No more than two individuals may walk a dog at once.
- Minors: Children under 18 years old are strictly prohibited from interacting with adoption dogs.
- Waste Disposal: Poop must be bagged and disposed of in public trash receptacles.
Safety and Reporting
- Startle Risks: Be alert, as dogs can be easily startled by surroundings.
- Incidents: Report negative behavior or incidents (such as bites) immediately to the store.
